A Creative and Active Week in Year 3!πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈπŸŽ¨

Date: 29th Nov 2024 @ 10:31pm

This week, Year 3 has been busy with lots of exciting activities and learning!

In English, we wrote a set of instructions on ‘How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth.’ We began by creating freeze frames of each step and explored a range of bossy verbs to make our instructions clear and engaging.

In maths, we’ve been mastering our skills in sharing and grouping, and we can now confidently divide any number! We’re also becoming experts in our 3 times tables!

In art, we explored Stone Age-inspired techniques and created stunning prints using sticks, straws, and stones, just like the Stone Age people might have done.

For science, we learned about the dangers of the sun and discussed how to keep ourselves safe. To put this into action, we designed and made sunglasses to protect our eyes—what a creative way to learn about sun safety!

Finally, we wrapped up the week with an energetic Freddy Fit session. We worked in teams, built our skills, and had so much fun staying active.

What a fantastic week we've had in Year 3! We've worked hard, learned lots and had so much fun along the way!
