Topic
For all our topics, children are provided with a rubric with lots of ideas for projects they can complete at home.
In Autumn, children learn all about WW2. An engaging and fascinating topic which will take the children on a journey from 1939 - 1945. They can complete all kinds of homework, including: art work, fact files, biographies. presentations and craft.
In Spring, children will learn all about Argentina as part of their geography topic. They will learn about the rich and diverse culture of Argentina, whilst also learning some key geographical skills like map reading. For homework, they can produce homework through their art work, craft or research.
In summer, children begin business enterprise, where they work as a team to create a business and raise money for the school. Homework can involve researching business ideas, producing posters and preparing presentations.
Music
Oldham Music Development have put together a resource for children in Reception to access from home also. Please see the password underneath to log in to the reception area of The Music Service Website;
