A trip to Heaton Park

We had the best possible start to our week on Monday when we visited Heaton Park. We started the day by getting on the bus and spotting the rural and urban features as part of our eye spy. When we got to the park we walked round and talked about the different signs of Autumn before heading to the Animal Centre. 

When we got to the animal centre we were amazed with how many different farm animals we saw. We got to see some of the animals being fed as well as listening to the different sounds they all made. We then went on a walk around the park to see some more animals. 

After lunch we had the chance to play on the park before finishing our day with a lovely walk around the lake to see all the wonderful wildlife. What a fantastic day we had!
