Baking Bread! 🍞

Lots of fun in Year 1 this week!

In English we have been writing a setting description of where the fire started in London... Pudding Lane Bakery! We thought about our senses and what we would see, smell, hear and feel when the fire started. 

In Maths, we have been looking at 2D and 3D shapes. We started the week naming and recognising shapes and were able to sort them. We finished the week discussing the properties of 2D shapes, including the number of sides and vertices. 

In DT, we made bread! We had a go at mixing, kneading and decorating our bread before evaluating it!
