Be a Scientist!

This week Year 2 had a fantastic start to the week! We had The Wonderdome visit and got to go inside and learnt all about Space! The children got to watch the first moon landing and the astronauts first steps on the moon. 

In English, we wrote a recount of our experience from the Wonderdome!

In science, the children have been on a materials hunt! We found different objects and categorise the material they are made from. We then discussed their properties and described the objects. 

In Maths, we have been learning to add using column addition! 

In PSHE, we talked about kindness and made posters on how to be kind.
