RHS Bridgewater

We had such a fun day visiting RHS Bridgewater as part of our 'plants' topic in Science! First we started the day having an explore of the huge woodlands, beautiful gardens and colourful greenhouses. We identified different plants in the environment. 

After lunch, we had our workshop where we learnt about how plants are pollinated and how we use different plants in medicine and for food. We then ventured outside to plant our own sweet peas and then went for an adventure looking for deciduous and evergreen trees. We worked in small groups to take bark rubbings and measurements of the trees.
