Handwashing Experiment
Date: 8th May 2021 @ 7:36pm
Having good hand hygiene and handwashing routines is so important, now more than ever. To investigate what kind of water is best for washing our hands with, Year 2 planned and carried out an experiment this week.
The children tested cold water, warm water and warm soapy water; using cocoa powder to see which water was the most effective. Conclusion: Warm soapy water washed the cocoa powder off more quickly and efficiently. We should always use warm, soapy water to kill germs!
