In Every House, On Every Street 🏡

Our final week of Autumn 1 in Year 1!

In English, we have been reading 'In Every House, On Every Street'. This is a book about houses and how the people who live in them and what they do differs from house to house. The children started the week by acting out each room of the house before creating a book describing their house. 

In Maths, we have been learning about number bonds within 10 and used multi link to help us write the addition number sentences for number to 10. 

In Geography, we finished our topic 'Me and My World' by creating junk models of features seen on our local area walk at the beginning of the term. We then added them to a 3D map of Oldham. 

Year 1 have had an excellent start to their year. We are extremely proud of all the hard work the children have put into their learning!
