Jack and the Beanstalk

We have continued our learning all about Traditional Tales and read the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. We enjoyed joining in with the repeated phrases 'Fe Fi Fo Fum' and discussing the events in the story. We explored colouring mixing by making green to paint our own beanstalks and used the interactive whiteboard to mark make beanstalks. In maths we have been exploring tall and short, linked to our story of the week. We even planted our own beans and found out what beans need to grow.
