Year 5 had an exciting week full of action!

Earlier this week, Y5 announced the deaths of Romeo and Juliet to the civilians of Verona. During English, we assigned roles and interviewed key witnesses whilst reporting at the crime scene. Year 5 made great news reporters!

In Maths we have begun using our addition and subtraction methods in finding missing numbers and comparing numbers. Using the inverse method, we are able to solve multi step problems. 

Year 5 also met Sir Lenny Henry, through an online event, who introduced us to his new book. We look forward to reading our signed copies at home! 📖🪱

Later this week, we learned how to ride scooters safely during our scootability event! 🛴
