Litter Picking Mission!

What a week we've had in Year 2! 

At the beginning of the week, we decided to go on a litter pick around school as part of our RE Topic. Muslims believe the Hadith 'Cleanliness is half of faith' and we had a discussion about how this should apply to our surroundings too!

We are only given one world and the children all agreed that it's so important to look after it. SO....we put on our gloves and LOVED tidying the playground.

Back in the classroom, we sorted the litter into different material groups and then created a block diagram on Purple Mash to present what we had found. Such fabulous cross-curricular learning!
