Local walk to see Annie Kenney

This week Year 2 started their topic of ' How will we remember you?'

In History we walked up to the Annie Kenney statue in Oldham town centre, where we predicted: Who is Annie Kenney? What did she do? Why was she so important? 

In English we have written a wanted poster for Annie Kenney and included some key facts about her. Year 2 have also written some amazing setting descriptions this week too. 

For science, we started our topic of Living things and food chains, we went on a hunt around school to find things that were living or non-living. We shared our photos with our friends.
