Oh Christmas Tree! 🎄

A week of Christmas fun in Year 1!

In English, we read 'The Christmas Pine' by Julia Donaldson. We were inspired to write our own Christmas tree shape poems. We started the week creating a soundscape, with jingling bells and rustling leaves! We used lots of adjectives to describe the star, baubles, tree and lights.

In continuous provision, we have enjoyed engaged in some Christmassy activities! We also made some wonderful Christmas cards and colourful calenders!
