One Kind Word for Anti-Bullying Week

In our PSHE lesson this week, Year 2 discussed their understanding of bullying. Anti-Bullying Week 2021 focusses on 'One Kind Word' and the message that even the smallest act of kindness can have such a huge impact on how somebody feels.

The children challenged themselves to share their ideas using Mentimeter on the iPads, each thinking of one kind word that could make somebody feel better about themselves. They then had fun designing their own socks, featuring the words from our word cloud, to represent that we are all different and that this should be celebrated.
