Our brand new chocolate bars!

This week Year 6 have been inspired by their class text of 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' to design their own chocolate bars. 

At the beginning of the week they investigated existing chocolate bar wrappers and then designed their own, including their own flavours, chocolate bar names and slogans.

For the rest of the week the children worked on a piece of writing, that was a product description of their new chocolate bar. They used lots of fantastic persuasive writing techniques, such as rhetorical questions and superlatives to entice the reader to buy their chocolate bars.
