Our Local Area Walk ????

This week in Year 1 we have had lots of fun!

We started the week by taking a walk around our local area as part of our Geography topic, 'Me and My World'. We saw lots of human and physical features on the way and ticked them off on our worksheets. 

In Maths, we have been representing amounts with objects and learnt how to recognise numbers as words. 

In English, we have followed on from our face labelling last week and have produced some amazing pieces of writing describing how we look and the things we like. 

The children have also used their imagination this week in the construction and sand and water areas, building a plane, pirate ship and even an aquarium!
