Rosh Hashanah 🎆
Date: 18th Apr 2024 @ 4:09pm
This week in Eglish, we have been reading a new book called 'The Plot on the Pyramid'. We have been learning about how to use possessive apostrophes and writing a letter to the Egyptian King!
In Maths, we have been learning how to read mass on scales. We have been looking at what it means when scales are balanced.
In R.E, we have been learning about the Jewish new year festival, Rosh Hashanah. We looked at when the celebration was, how it was celebrated, and the different foods eaten. We then shared our own new year celebrations, comparing the similarities and differences between them. Finally, we ate apples dipped in honey as we shared achievements we were proud of this school year and resolutions we wanted to make for the rest of the year.
