Sandwiches for Seagulls!

We've had a great first week back in Year 2 and kicked off the Summer Term by reading our new book in English, 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch'. In the story, three scavenging seagulls keep stealing Mr Grinling's lunch, so we decided to create our own disgusting sandwiches to scare them away. The children used mustard, ketchup, gherkins and sprinkles to make the most revolting concoction ever! Most were even brave enough to try their creation...with mixed reactions!
