Science and maths in year 3 #beaproblemsolver

Date: 25th Nov 2021 @ 1:40pm

This week in Year 3, we have been working collaboratively to investigate what happens to light when we place transparent, translucent and opaque objects in front of it.

Sophia predicted that light would only pass through the objects that were transparent.

We found that some translucent objects also let some light through. We changed materials and distance of your torch light to add variables to our experiment!

In maths we have been learning how to make equal groups for division. We made shapes to make our groups equal and worked out that not all numbers could be divided equally between 3, 4 and 5. We learnt new words such as dividend, divisor and quotient #beaproblemsolver

We have also been creative, making a 1st person diary entry from the perspective of The Stone Age Boy and created amazing stone age artwork #becreative
