Science experiments and creating posters to raise money 🥼

This week year 6 have been very busy creating posters advertising the hot chocolate they are going to sell next week, to help raise money for Westwood Academy. They also conducted an investigation into evolution, and what beaks would be best for a bird to pick up peas.

In maths, we have started algebra and the children have excelled.

In English, we wrote an explanation text about all our learning from WW2. The chidlren's knowledge blew me away and it is great to see how much they know about WW2
