Shall I compare thee to a summers day? 🌹

This week in English, Y5 have identified different types of poems. We looked at what features is needed to make a great poem and created our own rhyming poem about Romeo and Juliet. 

In Maths, we looked at finding common multiples, factors and prime numbers in our multiplication and division unit. 

In science, we learned about the force friction and investigated which materials cause the most and least friction. We were also lucky to have Adrien Bowden to conduct several experiments, investigating different forces. 

This week also included world mental health day, Y5 wore the colour yellow to show our support for young people who need help with their mental health and explored different techniques to manage our stress, worries and wellbeing. 💛
