Size and Distance

Y5 worked very well in Science, we learned a lot of information about the planets and the moon in our solar system. This week we looked at how far apart these planets are and what the sizes are compared to each other. We used images of fruits to help us categorise them. We also used tissue paper to calculate how far each planet is. With one square of tissue equalling to 500 million miles!
