This week, year 3 have been exploring hot and cold colours in art and created thier own colour chart that we can use in our uocoming art lkessons when we create our own volcanos.

The children mixed primary colours to make secondary and tertiary colours and displayed thier mixing skills in the style of Kandinsky. 

We have also worked incredibly hard in other subjects too! 

This week in English, Year 3 have been creating an escape story in English inspired by our story Escape from Pompeii. The children created their own characters and ways of escaping the eruption. In maths, we have further explored length and perimeter and have been adding, subtracting and comparing different length amounts.
