The Five Senses 👁👂👃🖐

Week 4 in Year 1 has been an exciting one!

In English, we have been carrying on with our story, 'The Colour Monster'. This week we have been creating our own colour monster with art materials and have described them using adjectives. 

In Maths, we have been exploring 'fewer', 'more' and 'same'. The children have been comparing values and grouping them based on whether they are fewer than, more than, or the same. 

In Science, we have been learning about the five senses; seeing, smelling, tasting, touching and hearing. The children explored each sense and could recall which sensory organ they used to experience it. We had lots of fun!

In PHSE, we have been learning about sharing and borrowing and practised borrowing toys before waiting our turn and how to ask to for it back.
