The Little Red Hen makes Pizza 🍕

This week we read the story The Little Red Hen makes Pizza. We worked together to make our own pizzas and thought it was fantastic when the dough grew bigger because of the special ingredient 'yeast'. We sequenced and wrote instructions of how to make pizza in our literacy work and in maths we started to explore numbers 6,7,8. We made a pizza oven in the construction area and made pretend pizzas to put in it. We had a great time playing together in our pizza shop. What a great week in reception!
