Red Nose Day ❤️

Date: 11th Mar 2024 @ 4:45pm

Y5 have worked excellently this week!

In English, we looked at the characters in our text, Toro Toro. Discussing their characteristics and personalities to help us write our character description.
For drama, we unraveled our play, King Lear, further into the plot. It's starting to escalate with a struggling king and a banished daughter.

In Maths, we have been recalling how to use the column method for addition and subtraction.

In science we have looked at irreversible reversible changes.

In PSHE we looked at how humanists make the right choice in difficult situations by using morals. We reenacted scenario of the right thing to do and the wrong thing to do.

This week in DT, Y5 looked at different ingredients to include in their Spanish omelettes. We taste tested these to understand if we would include these in our final products.

For our Spain topic, we researched famous landmarks in Spain and presented our findings to the class.

Y5 wore red for Red Nose Day and discussed why it is significant to support charities especially in this time of the year. ❤️
