The Queen’s Handbag 👜

An excellent week in Year 1 this week!

In English, we have been reading 'The Queen's Handbag' and have written a description of what we would see, hear and feel as the handbag! We started the week by acting out different scenes in the story and have created some wonderful descriptions!

In Maths, we have been exploring numbers to 20 and using and interpreting a number line. 

In provision, have had lots of fun designing, labelling and building our own palace for the King to live in! We have also used the story stones in the reading area to create our own stories!

We also had lots of fun playing with the snow earlier this week and built snowmen!
