VE Day celebrations! 🎉

This week, year 6 have been having all kinds of fun. We really enjoyed hosting our very own VE Day as part of our topic work. This involved having realistic WW2 food like sardines, cucumber sandwiches and Chorley cakes.

In maths, we have finished our algebra and are looking forward to our next topic.

In English, we wrote some amazing poems and put them into our own poetry books. We got to read some of our poems to Mr Hughes!
