Violent Earth Artwork??

This week, Year 3 have been learning about volcanic eruptions and earthquakes and how they can impact on people's lives.

In Art, we were inspired by the artist Nick Rowlands and created our own spatter and drip volcano collage.

We used other artist's inspiration such as Kirt Schwitters and Wassily Kandinsky to support our collage aspect.

In English, we created a glossary of key terms to support our writing of 'How to Survive an Earthquake' in preparation for creating our own explanation text.
