Where will books take you? ?- World Book Day 2022

Year 3 have had a wonderful, action packed day for world book day 2022!

Year 3 discussed their favourite books and shared with their friends, why they like that book and were it takes them.

We then read our world book day book 'The Colour Thief' and talked about how to look after ourselves and our mental health. 

Later in the day, the children created amazing world book day kites that showed off the childrens amazing art and crafting skills and a description of their favourite book. The results were absolutely fantastic!

We rounded off the day with a special guest author Amy Kibushi who talked to us about her amazing book series ' The Rema Chronicals. Amy talked to us about how to storyboard and panel and how she creates the comic strips.
