Budding Scientists!

Year 3 have been busy being budding scientists this week! 

We conducted an experiment into the properties of rocks, classifying them into Metamorphic, Igneous and Sedimentary. 

We then tested the density, permeability and durability of a selection of different rocks using a controlled amount of water and quantity and size of rock.

In English, we have throughly enjoyed our new book 'Mammoth Pie' and have written a postcard from the perspective of The woolly mammoth.

In maths, we have explored counting pounds and pence and have started to combine coins to make amounts.

Well done to the children for all their efforts!
