World Book Day! 📚

Another super week for Year 1 this week!

Year 1 have had lots of exciting things happening this week! On Monday, we got the chance to meet Author and Illustrator, Nick Sharrett! He read this book 'Shark in the Park' to us and taught us how to draw some of the characters from the story! We had so much fun! 

On Thursday, we dressed up as characters from our favourite stories for World Book Day! Some children got to join in with our whole school book swap! 

We have focussed on a new text this week in English, 'Dear Dinosaur' and have been planning a letter to write from the Dinosaur to Max!

We also had lots of fun in continuous provision, creating dinosaur paintings, finding fossils and much more!
