World Book Day 📚

This week we celebrated world book day by reintroducing the idea of having as bedtime story. We all came into school wearing our pyjamas and brought our favourite book with us to shared with our friends. 

During the day we had the opportunity to go into our hall which had been set up for us to relax and enjoy a book with a friend from a different class. Whilst we were in the hall we got given a new book all about Paddington Bear and had a hot chocolate. 

In the afternoon, we made our own bookmark all about our favourite book and characters. Then to finish the day Miss Akhtar came into Year 2 to read us her favourite story- Funnybones! 

What a wonderful day we had!
